There was a time when Malvasia was regarded as very much a "workhorse" grape, making wines that were decent enough buy not much to write home about. Not so these days though where, in the right hands, it is capable of shining. This unoaked white comes from Toro which is situated to the west of Rueda and just east of Zamora.
A straw-yellow colour with greenish glints. Very aromatic with notes of white flowers and local orchard fruit coming through, such as apple and peach. Balanced, smooth and fresh on the palate.
