The idea of producing the wine Primero was given to Bodegas Fariña by a Dutch customer, who wanted a DO Toro wine produced along the lines of the French Beaujolais. That was back in 1995.

A varietal Tinta de Toro, this Spanish red wine is made through the carbonic maceration method.

Its Spanish name ("primero" means "first"), clearly indicates its special nature, as this wine was released onto the market less than 3 months after the harvest.

The wine Fariña Primero 2024 was vinified for 5 to 7 days at a temperature of 20ºC in stainless steel tanks. It was stabilized before being bottled.

Another distinctive feature of this young red wine is that the label reproduces the work of a visual artist.

A black cherry colour with a light-purple rim. A wide array of fruit and floral aromas on the nose with creamy notes. Fruity, very fresh and well-balanced on the palate.
