Val de Reyes Blanco is a semi-sweet white wine produced by Bodegas Fariña under the I.G.P. Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León. Breaking away from traditional Castilian red wines, the winery has crafted this coupage with a surprising result.

It is worth noting that the muscat variety for this wine is harvested with a high percentage of botrytis. Its production process included alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 15ºC. Through successive filtrations at very low temperatures, the fermentation was interrupted to leave the wine with a sugar content between 65/70 grams per liter. The result is a semi-sweet white that captivates with its notes of orange peel and honey, with a tasty and fresh mouthfeel.

Bodegas Fariña was founded in 1942 by Salvador Fariña, a pioneer and great promoter of the D.O. Toro. Today, the second generation runs the Zamora-based winery, crafting interesting wines under a philosophy that combines the use of the most modern techniques with traditional methods of the production area. Manuel Fariña produces wines that are characterized by their uniqueness and also express the Castilian-Leonese personality.

With an aging potential of between 2 and 6 years, Val de Reyes Blanco is ideal for accompanying various appetizers, such as foie gras or Iberian ham, nuts, and not-too-sweet desserts.
